Festival flags easily set up!
For most of our inflatable objects, we use a special fire retardant cloth, such as PVC-coated polyester or nylon with fire retardant coating, as standard. These materials are chosen because of their:
Flame retardant properties (self-extinguishing)
Mechanical strength and durability
Weather resistance (for indoor and outdoor use)
By choosing fire retardant materials as early as the design stage, we reduce the risk of fire spreading in the event of an incident. This is essential for use at events where large groups of people are present.
Sometimes projects require other materials, for example, plush or textiles with a specific appearance. In those cases, we treat these fabrics manually with a fire-retardant liquid. We use only certified impregnants that meet the required standards, such as:
DIN 4102-B1 (Germany)
EN 13501-1 (European fire classes).
NEN 6065 / NEN 6066 (Dutch standard)
After treatment, materials are tested for their flame retardancy. If necessary, we provide a certificate of treatment. These can be downloaded directly from the product page of the respective product.
At events in the Netherlands, strict rules apply around fire safety of temporary objects and decoration. Our inflatable products meet the standards as included in, among others:

Material certificates and technical documentation are often requested when applying for event permits. We provide these as standard with rental or placement, so that organizers can quickly and correctly interact with the relevant authorities.
